Torn
Another part of the media work includes producing documentary films. We have brought out three documentary films so far, with one more on its way.
One of these, ‘Torn’ was extremely well received, winning three prestigious awards: the top prize at the Clarion Awards in the category ‘Video (CSR – Corporate Social Responsibility),’ as well as two prestigious IVCA Awards, Silver for best Documentary and Bronze for the Charity And Public Welfare category (The International Visual Communication Association (IVCA) is the world’s only Communication Awards promoting: Social Inclusion, CSR, Sustainable Development and Ethical Debate).
‘Torn’ is a short film produced for MRC by Hotdog and mustard films.’Torn’tells of the experiences of three of our media group members of fleeing persecution, seeking asylum in the UK and of their hopes for the future.
